AroMOMtherapy is a mobile spa created by a mother, specifically for mothers. We feature a soothing line of aromatherapy and tropical fruit inspired spa products. Our signature line of products are natural, hand made and infused with the finest quality of essential, fragrance and carrier oils, each item is created with the needs of the everyday mother in mind our line and services have been formulated to relax, soothe and heal the spirits of a mother. Grilllllll! There is one thing that I want to make clear from the start: Aromomtherapy is a “no mom-guilt” zone. You read correctly! No. Mom. Guilt. because I can see you. That sincere but weary smile tells it all. If we’re being honest - and I hope we are - a messy bun or braids aren’t necessarily your favorite styles to rock. They are what accommodates your hectic schedule.
You love your children - truly, they are the manifestation of your heartbeat - but you are tired. And rightfully so. With so much time dedicated to everyone and everything, you have placed yourself last on the list… if you’re even on the list at all! Well, That ends now. Wave goodbye to those early mornings and late nights that lack time in between for you to love on self. Sis, if no one else sees you, I see you. That’s because I was you.
Realizing that I wasn’t SuperWoman was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. In 2012, I was diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia. If you are familiar with either, you know they individually take a major toll on the body. So yeah, Imagine having both! These diagnoses made me more aware of the stress and strain I placed on myself with such a rigorous do this/do that way of life. Where was the rule book that said I had to have it all together all the time? The aha... moment was realizing that the more I invested time and attention into self-care, the more manageable my illnesses became. I began making natural products that served my body well and creating space in my routine to nurture me. What a game-changer! Loving me empowered me to better love others more efficiently - especially my children.
Want to know what this personal epiphany taught me? Moms don’t need more parenting advice. You and I both know that we have heard it all, sometimes two, three, or umpteen times! What we really need is time, space, and products that help us to feel good and become who God hand-crafted us to be. mommies, we are fearfully and wonderfully made! Why are we so fearful of taking time for ourselves? We are created to grow and nurture entire beings. It is okay - healthy even - to turn those qualities inward. This is why Aromomtherapy exists. My true beauty has been birthed through serving overworked and under-nurtured moms. After more than 10 years as a master cosmetologist, I switched gears to launch Aromomtherapy. We offer an in-home uber like spa experience and wellness services for mothers in need of some me-time. Massages, facials, spa parties, and more - we come directly to your door ready to provide the services you need and deserve. Through hands-on experience and relaxation, our team teaches you how to create unique, daily retreats utilizing our line of luxurious products that allow you to tap into your true beauty. When you take time to love you, you'll become empowered to better love those who mean the most to you.
